In the events of Dawn of the Dragon, the Golem was to be given Spyro and Cynder as entertainment sacrifices under Malefor's orders. The Golem was summoned from the depths of the earth by Malefor sometime after his return. Its tail is also used as a weapon, whipping away Spyro and Cynder, as well as other enemies in its path, and the Golem has the ability to regenerate missing limbs (as when it used the rubble of Dragon City to build a new hand).
It can even scale buildings with the use of its spider-like legs. During Spyro and Cynder's escape through the Catacombs, the beast was shown to be persistent in its attempts to kill its two sacrifices, as even an arrow to the eye and the loss of its left arm didn't slow down its pursuit.īesides using its massive strength to crush its enemies, the Golem can breathe fire and release fireballs. It is the embodiment of destruction, capable of razing cities to the ground. Fused by the dark will of Malefor, the Golem's sole purpose is the destruction of Spyro and anything else that happens to get in its way.
